We are Amy and Dan Taussig from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and the owners of our newly renovated condos at Grande Bay Resort! We began visiting St. John in 2005 when our children, Trevor and Kelsey who were young (who are now adults). We fell in love with St. John for the laid back vibe, small town feel, beautiful beaches, great hiking, terrific restaurants, fun bars and most of all the wonderful people living and visiting St. John. One of the best parts about St. John is with 60%+ of the island being a National Park it will help to guarantee its natural beauty will be kept forever.
We vacationed on St. John almost every year and tried numerous rentals ranging from a private home, to a variety of other condo/hotel complexes on the island. Our favorite location has always been the Grande Bay Resort. It's amenities and location to the lifestyle of Cruz Bay is unbeatable. You are literally just steps away from restaurants, bars and shops. So, in 2020 we made the big decision to buy our own "Happy Place" at the Grande Bay Resort. Initially, we purchased our 3 bedroom condo, but quickly one thing lead to another and we also added the studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units literally next door. It is wonderful when we have family and friends visiting for everyone to be so close to each other, yet still have some privacy. It has worked out wonderfully.
